About OMC85

The class of 1985 of the prestigious Osmania Medical College (OMC) in Hyderabad India started its professional journey on Aug 20th as a 150 strong group. These young medical students had several aspirations and dreams, which they have successfully accomplished after their initial training at OMC followed by residencies & fellowships at various prestigious universities worldwide. The class of ‘85 has not only spread its roots in India, but also in Europe, North America and as far as in the Caribbean, Middle East & Australia. Over time our classmates have achieved phenomenal professional success in various medical & surgical specialities & subspecialties extending not only in the areas of teaching, research and education but also philanthropy, arts & entrepreneurship. We have decided to build upon our professional and personal successes to come together to give back to the medical students, trainees and patients in need in Hyderabad, India on an ongoing basis which in time we hope to extend to any individual and community in need worldwide, on a case by case basis. Our OMC85 Foundation has been formed to achieve our mission.
